Another win for the series...

I have to be honest, Im not really a James Bond fan. I havent seen many movies if the series, but I can say that I like most of the ones that I have seen. I was talked into seeing Casino Royale by a pal back when it arrived in theaters and I went in thinking it will be all right but not great. Fortuantely I was wrong, Casino Royale rocked. Quantum of Solace continues the tradition and is quickly setting the bar on what this "reimagining" of the Bond series will be like. Gone are the cheesy one liners, goofy villains, crazy out of this world contraptions, all replace with what made James Bond popular to begin with, lots of high speed action, hot women and great espionage and intrigue. Quantum of Solace sets up after Casino with Bond looking into the company Vesper (the love interest from Casino Royale) worked for. What he finds is just the opening into a world wide organization that has as of yet remained a mystery to the world's intelligence agencies. In the meantime, Bond is learning to deal with the death of Vesper and how it affects him. While purists may like the older Bond fims better, I hope Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are just the first steps in a reinvigorated James Bond franchise. I give Quantum of Solace a score on the Heath-scale of 7 out of 10.
